Weekend in Manchester:)

Hi everyone,
This is just a quick entry to let you all know about my weekend in Manchester.
Here is a cool photo of the Manchester Wheel... it is smaller than the London Eye but still you get a great view from the top.

Okay this photo was supposed to be cool but anyway.... it reminded me of my White Opel Corsa with the blue neons!!! ehehehe

Ya and any trip to Manchester would be wasted if you do not go and see Old Trafford!!!!
Where "o nosso" Ronaldo is the man!!!!

Here is a photo of the changing room in Old Trafford... no wonder him and Rooney do so well they even sit next to each other in the changing rooms!!!

And here is the pitch.... it is cool.... okay I have seen better stadiums... but still very impressive....

Manchester is a great place... I must say that the night life rules.... Printworks.... Deansgate... ohh man.... you guys have got to go.... ahhh when you do... dont forget me.... it is only a 7h drive from Aberdeen!!!!!

Another Year older... Another Year Wiser!!!

Yupp, another year has gone by... what can I say... 2007 changed my life!!! I thought that 2007 deserved a small space on my blog!!!

2007 Started in Vila Nova de Mil Fontes.... what a way to start the year!!! great place with great friends!!!
I already had a contract with Oceanscan and I knew that my life was about to change....
Said goodbye to Portugal....
Goodbye to Natasha.... maybe the hardest thing I have ever had to do....the price one pays when chasing dreams....
13th of January I started at Oceanscan the beginning of an eye opening experience...
I was now living in Scotland... who would have known?! Some say it was destined...
The first few months of the year... were challenging in more ways than one...
Started playing Ice Hockey....
Bought my Bike great way to keep fit :)
Travelled to London... to Peterhead....
The R&D team widened my horizons...the number of things that I had not realised....Professionally and personally
The "wee" kid from Portugal realizes how lucky he is to have the job he has....
Travelled to Peterhead...
Travelled to Fort William....
Travelled to Colombo 2 times....
Travelled to Glasgow....
Checked out Lochness monster!!! I could not find Nessie?!?!!?!?
6 months later... I decided to go back to Portugal:)

Got back from Portugal and...
Back to Colombo....
Back from Colombo to Aberdeen... started planning my trip to the States..
Joined a football team here in Aberdeen....

Back to work at Oceanscan... learning more and more...
the sky is the limit...because at Oceanscan we can!!!!
Started renting cars every weekend do really discover the wonders of Scotland...
Started my new passion in life.... indoor wall climbing!!!! oohh yeaahhhh
Joined a Tennis club it is good to be playing again:)
Decided to take a weekend a discover the wonders of Madrid!!!!!
Back in Aberdeen... working hard... and playing hard.....
Played golf for the first time.... it is not as easy as it looks!!!
Had a great Xmas Lunch at Oceanscan....
Flew back to Portugal for Xmas....
Stayed in Lisbon for a couple of days...
Drove down to the Algarve.... Vale Perra...
Xmas in a T-Shirt... ohh yeahhhh
Vilamoura Casino....of course I got lucky...:P
Almograve....Sines... Lisbon.....
Headed off to Madrid in the red 1007 for New Year....
2007 Ended with a bang in Madrid with my new friends!!! ohh yeahhhh


All I can say... if 2008 is as good as 2007.... who knows where I will end up....
I just want to make the most of life... What a year....

New in Madrid?!

Hi everyone!!! I have been quiet but busy as ever:) It has been quite a long time since my last entry... sorry about that. I have been working really hard.

After all the hard work a nice trip back to Portugal was due... ya I know... Xmas and New Year!!! I wanted all my mates to come to Scotland but things did not work out (as it turned out the weather was not the best anyway) maybe next year!!!

It was great to go to Portugal... I arrived on the 19th of December and left on the 7th of January.

I managed to see most of my mates and catch up on all their news!!! That itself was worth the journey....

A wise man once said....

"It is not the destination but the journey that is important"



Anyway I decided to go to Madrid for new year....

Ya, Bruno, Mike and myself we all went to Madrid in my rented red 1007!!!! Great car... it was baptized as the "pussy magnet".... who knows why?! It was not my idea!!!! Anyway moving on... After 6 hours we made it to Madrid!!!

We found Silvias house straight away... who needs GPS when we have Mike in the car!?!

Ya I really loved Madrid.... the City is alive... I sometimes miss that... the whole city parties 24 hours!!!I really love that... Maybe not to live but every now and again it is great!!!!

In Madrid people celebrate new year on the 30th to the 31st, and on the 31st to the 1st... I think it is a great idea... why not have 2 new year eve parties!?!?! ehehehehe Anyway everyone in the city has these fancy hats.... I thought that Songoku was a bit too much... but I think my "KameHaMEEEHHH" was pretty good!!! eheheheheheh

Anyway I now back in Aberdeen....who knows what this year 2008 is going to bring.... guess I will have to wait and see!!!!
